Nano & Industry 2024: Applications in lightweight construction

• An event for developers, production experts, researchers and networks from the European lightweight construction community.

For the successful transfer of innovative ideas into new products and their cost-efficient production, technologically strong partners from different countries are needed who work together in a project consortium and thus ensure commercial success. Most European countries, such as Switzerland, promote such collaborations and have corresponding financing programs.

After the industrial keynote on the automated advanced manufacturing of lightweight components, the first part of the event focuses on current instruments, networks, national and European funding programs and how these can be used across borders. After the break, the focus will be on concrete examples of successful, international lightweight construction projects. Top speakers from industry and applied research will demonstrate advanced manufacturing innovations in automation, new metallic or composite materials, connection technology, non-destructive analytics and sustainability.

The event is organized by nano.swiss, Hightech Zentrum Aargau AG and ELA European Lightweight Association. 
This event will mainly be held in German.
